| Terms such as “toxic mold,” “black mold,” and “mycotoxin” have been increasingly in the media. The misinformation being disseminated regarding mold health effects and mold remediation, plus the resultant law suits and large awards, have made it imperative for all parties to be well informed regarding the true facts regarding mold and its hazards. In recent years, ENVIROspect has been heavily involved in mold testing, project oversight and subsequent project closure reporting. Our mold testing methods and reporting for pre- and post project testing is the only method that results in quantifiable data that can be consistently evaluated on an “apples to apples” basis. ENVIROspect uses laboratory analysis to determine the type and quantities of mold present. Samples are gathered, cultured and incubated to provide quantitative analysis of the amount and dentification of any mold present. It is also the only method that is currently widely accepted in litigation cases. Due to the lack of industry wide standards, having quantifiable results is invaluable in bringing closure to mold remediation claims. Reporting includes easy and understandable text in addition to actual laboratory data. Report also includes observations, conclusions and recommendations. | | |
